Growing your own nails

Why will my nails not grow? Unless you have a medical condition that prevents this, your nails are growing! Statistics say that our nails grow about 1/8 of an inch per month. The most common reason why most people's nails don't seem to grow is because they break before they see results. Biting, breaking off the end, splitting or peeling your nails won't help.
I encourage you to make a regular appointment with your nail technician to help and encourage you with your healthy nail growth.

Nail Care Tips

Cuticle care - gently push back your cuticles and apply a good quality cuticle oil each evening before retiring. This will enhance and strengthen you nails and feed them.

Stain free nails - If you enjoy nail polish, make sure you give your nails a break from time to time. Therefore leaving them with out nail polish for a few days. If you don't do this your nails will develop an ugly yellow / orange tint.

Natural nails - If you prefer a natural look. Buff them regularly with a 3 way buffer and apply a good quality cuticle oil.

After washing your hands - always apply handcream to hands and nails which will prevent your nails from becoming brittle. Soap drys out our nails.
